Black Rock Homes LLC Downingtown, PA
I met Greg Wagman and John Lentz two years ago. I had been sitting floor duty at our old office in the Boro of West Chester. Greg walked in and asked to see some homes in the West Chester area and I showed him a few. He told me that he wanted to begin to buy homes, fix them up and sell them. To be honest, his age took me back a bit but his enthusiasm was absolutely contagious. I knew instantly that this young man meant business. I was equally impressed when I had the opportunity to meet his business partner, and college roommate John a few weeks later. That fateful day in West Chester became the beginning of a successful working relationship not to mention a wonderful friendship based on mutual respect and trust. They have continued to impress, amaze and amuse me on a daily basis. What a year it has been!
Don't let their youthful appearance fool you. These two Notre Dame grads are taking Chester County by storm. In their first two years, they have bought nine homes, moved into one and have renovated eight. Five of those homes have sold. They just completed two new homes, one in Downingtown and another in Coatesville. Those are now active on the market, Another home in Malvern will be available in April. Visit 1313 Ridgeview Circle and 68 Landover Drive from my homepage!
They have documented their entire first 2 years in a video diary. These two young men are living proof that with hard work, determination, perseverance and a great, positive attitude, you can accomplish ANYTHING ( no matter what age you are! )

The Paper Market Kennett Square, PA
Doug and Susan Harris loved living in West Brandywine township. It's rural setting and beautiful Brandywine Valley vistas along with a group of really wonderful neighbors made them happy to call 255 Baker Road in Coatesville their home. In 2004, they even were married in the backyard with all their friends and family surrounding them. Life could not have been any better, or could it? Doug and Susan knew that that when opportunity knocks, you gotta answer. It did, they did and the rest is history!
They saw a chance to actualize their dreams of owning their own stationary boutique and ran with it! After much hard work and perseverance, " The Paper Market", an Eco Boutique in Kennett Square was born. The only problem was that the long commute daily into Kennett Square was really starting to taking it's toll. Doug and Susan decided that they wanted to become more involved in the Kennett community; to live and play where they worked. They developed a plan to sell their Coatesville home and purchase another in Kennett Square that would be within walking distance of their shop and all that the downtown area had to offer. They hired me as their listing agent at Thanksgiving time and together we adopted the motto; " Let The Miracle Happen". Lo and behold, it did!
Within 90 days, Doug and Susan had sold their home and moved into a beautiful new place in Kennett Square. They love their new digs and are really celebrating all the extra time they now have to enjoy each other and their new community. And, business at the Paper Market is thriving! They were voted Best Of The Mainline and now are one of the top Toms Shoes providers ( www.tomsshoes.com ) They support the philosophy of having a low impact on the environment as we live our daily existance with the goal being to provide the tools of social expression. You can visit them on the web at www.thepapermarket.com or simply stop in and spend some quality time with Doug at "The Paper Market" 103 W. State Street Kennett Square, PA 610-444-9484. Congratulations to Doug and Susan!
